Tim Carson has been traveling the country, helping singers of all types learn to present themselves and their music in a way that communicates the emotion in the song, the heart behind the lyrics, and the power behind the voice. He helps people understand their voice as an instrument, like any other, and that singing is truly a learnable skill.
Tim is a professional singer and vocal coach, and the founder of Vocal Artistry and the Vocal Artistry Training Series. He has worked in the music industry for over twenty years and in 2000, earned his master’s degree in vocal pedagogy from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. During his time in the Windy City, he was on the music staff at Willow Creek Community Church and on the faculty at Wheaton College. His students include recording artists, Broadway professionals, and thousands of others all over the world who just love to sing. His latest work, The Worship Vocal Book, published by Hal Leonard, addresses the needs of the modern worship singer, covering style, confidence, singing technique, stage presence, and more.
