8. Levy Strap

Levy is arguably the first name in guitar straps.  What is un-arguable is the quality of their products.

Perhaps best known for their fine leather straps (with or without stitching, tooled and un-tooled), they also have nylon, cotton and even hemp guitars straps.

They have a vast selection with a variety of styles and patterns so there’s something for every guitarist.

But, what might make Levy straps the most appealing to the non-musician gift giver is that their website has multiple categories including “genre guitar straps.”  Basically, their selection of straps is separated by different genre of music:

(in alphabetical order)

Christian

Country

Glam

Gothic

Hard Rock

Metal

Rasta

Rockabilly

Street Rod

Tear Wear

Okay, I’ll be the first to admit I don’t know what style of music “Street Rod” and “Tear Wear” are (it sounds more like trade names for product lines to me), but they get extra points for making it easier on my mom.
