Sheptone, an American manufacturer of guitar and bass pickups announced today its new Sheptone Tweets Sweet Tone Campaign and Giveaway. Over the next eight weeks, Sheptone will be giving away one set of pickups each week by random drawing from those who participate. The Twitter campaign is the next step in the grass roots efforts to build up the Sheptone brand.
To enter, participants need to create a Twitter account, if they don’t already have one, follow the company @sheptone (participants have to follow the company so they can be notified in case they are selected as winners) and then tweet verbatim: I love @sheptone #guitar pickups. Have you tried them? http://bit.ly/9nviKk
Over the next eight weeks, Sheptone will select one winner, each week to receive a free set of either the Sheptone Tribute PAF’s, the AB Custom Strat, Standard Tele or Standard P90 pickups – winners choice.
The campaign is the next step in Sheptone’s grass roots efforts. For the past few years, there has been a quiet undercurrent throughout the internet with musicians in the pursuit of tone. Plus, noted guitarists such as Brian Kahanek, Danny Kortchmar, Derek Trucks, John Fogerty, Richard Smith, and Steve Ouimette are becoming customers. Discussion of Sheptone products is increasing on forums and blogs successfully comparing them to the competition. Since last summer, the monthly newsletter is receiving thousands of signups and the recent creation of their Facebook fan page is fueling further discussions throughout the social media stratosphere.
