From the young age of two, Sammi already knew what she wanted to do and began telling people that she was going to be a star—because she loved to entertain every single person that she met!

At the age of 15, Sammi Hanratty has already built quite an impressive resume. Last year she was cast as the lead in two feature films: The Lost Medallion: The Adventures of Billy Stone, which was shot on location in Thailand, and The Greening of Whitney Brown, in which she plays the title character alongside Brooke Shields, Aidan Quinn, and Kris Kristofferson. She has shared the big screen with some of Hollywood’s finest, including Cuba Gooding Jr., Ray Liotta, Jim Carrey, and Colin Firth, as well as having worked with Oscar winning director Robert Zemeckis in Disney’s blockbuster adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol, in which she played several different characters.

Hanratty’s success is not only limited to the big screen; she can also be seen on many television series including Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Most recently, she’s been rockin’ out with her Stardust Elite Classic (Red Rocker) with which she aims to cross over as a music star.

In addition to building her resume with acting and music experience, Hanratty serves as a great role model for young girls. After playing the title role of Chrissa in An American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong, she joined forces with bullybust.org and now travels around the country speaking to children about the importance of being an upstander. Hanratty was also handpicked as one of the select few chosen for Variety’s Youth Impact Report 2009.   “I love that she uses her influence amongst young girls in a positive way and is setting a good example.  We are so happy that she has decided to expand her career to music, and chose Daisy Rock to do so!” said Tish Ciravolo, President and Founder of Daisy Rock Girl Guitars.
