In today’s modern worship environment, video technology is just as much apart of the musical presentation as sound. As a result, sound techs and praise team leaders are routinely brought into the fold when it comes to selecting a new projector. So, with that in mind, here’s a little news item you may find helpful when those charged with watching over expenditires at your church give the okay for a new projector. In a survey conducted by Pacific Media Associates (PMA), Hitachi came out as the top-rated projector brand for dealers serving the pro market. The number-one ranking was based on Hitachi’s overall composite rating in the survey of North American projector dealers.
The survey, which took place in November and December of 2012, asked dealers to rate 21 aspects of marketing support, product attributes and after-sale support. Quality and reliability were rated to be the most important factors for dealers when choosing a projector manufacturer. In addition to receiving the top overall composite manufacturer rating, Hitachi earned the number-one scores in the top five sub-composite rankings for Marketing Support, Products and After-Sale Support and the number-one score in the Top Five Rankings for Leading Overall Attributes in the Return/Repair Programs category.
