Another highlight of my travels during MusikMesse in Frankfurt, Germany, was almost literally running into Peter D’Addario in one of the aisles as I navigated my way through the miles of booths and displays. I rarely get to meet up with my sponsors in person and the folks at D’Addario Strings/Planet Waves have been one of my most staunch supporters for many years, and for that I am truly grateful.

In keeping with the theme of the show, which was a collection of music and voices from around the world, I ventured over to visit Peter and his crew at their booth and captured different voices from around the world: English, Spanish, German, and French. Members of the D’Addario group, along with Peter, shared their views about the event and as well as their experiences. I wish I knew what they said, but they all seemed like a pretty happy crew.

Great edible munchies were available at nearly every booth and, more often than not, I caught myself staring into small bowls instead of engaging myself in the new product displays. However, I did pull myself away from the food offerings and was able to watch musicians cutting loose, while I absorbed all the sounds and visions of this international gathering.
