Think you’re funny? Well if so, you could win a PA system or other cool prizes.

BEHRINGER has announced the launch of an online video contest challenging musicians and music fans worldwide to show off their creativity by submitting a comedic short film vignette for the chance to win a generous prize package that includes a complete PA system and other prizes. The company outlines that submissions should depict a comedic situation related to music, or musicians, and asks that the plot incorporate at least one BEHRINGER product. The rest is left to the creativity of the participant.

Contestants will be asked to upload original videos to their own YouTube account, and enter the contest by posting a link to it on BEHRINGER’s official Facebook Fanpage Wall. Contest entries will be added to a special playlist, hosted on BEHRINGER’s official YouTube Channel. Accepted video submissions will be available for viewing through midnight (PDT) April 28, 2010, and the top ten will be selected based on views, ratings and comments by midnight, May 1, 2010. Finalist voting will continue through May 08, 2010, and the three winners, based on highest number of votes, will be announced May 14, 2010. In the event of a tie, the video with the highest view count will win.

The contest comes in cooperation with the release of “Bulletproof Audio Mixer”, a "too hot for TV" style video, which depicts an outrageous fictional dispute gone awry. The recently posted video received thousands of views within days, and has generated a substantial level of positive feedback for the company in the social media space. Due to the overnight viral success of the original video, and in the creative spirit of the contest, BEHRINGER has also released a bonus video entitled “The Making of Bulletproof Audio Mixer.” The videos mark the company’s increased focus on social media and community outreach with video projects, contests, and the like. The current videos are available for viewing at, and BEHRINGER urges viewers to stay tuned to the channel for a series of future releases.

Brian Crouch, Sr. Manager of Social Media commented, “We want to interact directly with our community, and see how creative they can be with their ideas and submissions!” Crouch continued, “This is an opportunity for us to have some fun with the people who are the true foundation of our company… the musicians.” To view “Bulletproof Audio Mixer”, visit
