CD: Into Place

Boston artist Vanessa Kafka has precisely the right attitude toward the state of the economy. Just ignore it.

Putting her career first, she recently took a giant leap of faith and walked away from her day job to go on tour in support of her new CD, Into Place. Well aware of the risks of her endeavor, acting to pursue her dream, she says, is more of a risk than her six-week sojourn. “The economy didn’t have anything to do with my decision to start recording the album, I can’t let it stop me from following through.” That’s exactly the kind of focus and dedication that draws success and she certainly has the talent to back it up. She’s a terrific songwriter, with a very engaging and memorable sound. I discovered Vanessa right after she joined our artist online community, L2PBandSpace  – Vanessa’s Page
