Alan Lightman’s Novel Einstein’s Dreams was an international best seller in 1992. It was adapted for the stage in 1996 and ran briefly at the New York Fringe Festival (off-off Broadway) in 2001.
Singer/Songwriter Randall Williams has always loved the book and has now created his own musical adaptation for guitar and orchestra. The book consists of 30 chapters, and Williams has created a different piece for each. The dreams involve the conception of time as Einstein work’s through his theory of relativity.
