The Kings of Leon, the Black Crowes and Jackson Browne are just a few of the (lucky) artists that will be performing May 9 -12 at the BottleRock Napa Valley festival that promises to merge the finest of music with cuisine, beer and the valley’s number one product of notoriety, wine.
The three stages situated on the Napa Valley Expo grounds will feature rock, R&B, hip hop, pop and country acts, as well as some name comedy acts.
Kings Of Leon
The music roster includes: Kings of Leon, The Black Keys, Zac Brown Band, Furthur featuring Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, Jane’s Addiction, The Shins, The Avett Brothers, Train, The Flaming Lips, The Black Crowes, Cake, Ben Harper & Charlie Musselwhite, Primus, Alabama Shakes, Jackson Browne, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Dirty Projectors, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Dwight Yoakam, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Violent Femmes, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Blues Traveler, Iron & Wine, Grouplove, Café Tacuba, The Wallflowers, Brandi Carlile, Bad Religion, Andrew Bird, Matt Nathanson, and X.
Also on the grounds will be booths from the leading local wineries, micro breweries and restaurants.
With the gates to the event opening at noon each day (with the music acts kicking in a half hour later) the attendees will be able to leisurely reach Napa Valley each morning. It is expected that the town of Napa will come alive after the final BottleRock encore each night, as the hippest districts are within walking distance of the Expo center, including Oxbow, Restaurant Row and West End.
The Black Keys
The Live 2 Play Network and SPL Network will dispatch our event bloggers Linda Evans and Linda Hutchinson to cover the acts and the audio production with daily updates.
Festival passes begin at $139 for a single day pass, and $399 for a 4-day pass. Sadly the 3-day passes are sold out.
