Behringer’s new X AIR Series features four digital mixers (from 12 to 18-inputs) with completely wireless control. According to Music Group’s senior engineer of conception Jan Duwe, “For the first time in audio history, Behringer has created a digital mixer which is integrated into a stage box and combined with a wireless router, recording interface, personal monitoring system and even a revolutionary auto-mixing function.”
Designed for traditional front-of-house applications, The X18 is 18-Channel, 12-Bus Digital Mixer for iPad/Android Tablets with 16 Programmable MIDAS Preamps, Integrated Wifi Module and Multi-Channel USB Audio Interface. It also serves as the launch pad for your favorite tablet accepting both iPad and Android tablets.
X18 makes an ideal universal dock for tablets and notebook PCs. The XR18, XR16 and XR12 come in a stage box format (without the docking capability) with a rack-mounting kit for installed applications. The wireless, remote-controllable mixers, feature Midas-designed mic preamps, an integrated tri-mode Wifi router and four stereo FX processors (from the Behringer X32) that include nearly 50 X32 high-end FX Plug Ins.
