Save Me, by Ian Blackwood and The Bipolars

From Toronto, Ontario, Cananda, ian Blackwood is a multi-Instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, mixer, engineer and actor. As a musician Ian has played in the bands Jersey (Virgin/EMI, FBR), The Fullblast (Dine Alone), The Artist Life (UO/Universal) and Walk Off The Earth, among others and has played some of the finest venues in North America and around the world. He has worked together with award winning Canadian record producers Greig Nori (Sum 41), Gavin Brown (Metric), Gianni Nicassio (Walk Off The Earth) and Jesse Colburn (Avril Lavigne, Stereos) as well as American producers Brian McTernan (Hot Water Music), John Wozniak (Mercy Playground) and Grammy nominated Rob Caggiano (Anthrax, Volbeat). Save Me is one of the first releases from his latest solo project entitled Ian Blackoowd and the Bipolars. It’s very commercial rocker features some very driving, punchy instrumentation and tight production. And, while the video has been done using Legos and stop motion, it too has some very unusual twists.
