Unique Video Backs Elvis Perkins’ “Fire”

Elvis Perkins has shared a new companion video for the I AUBADE showcase track, “I Came For Fire.” Directed by acclaimed French multimedia artist Christine Rebet, the clip features 16mm footage of Perkins at work in his MIR studio, interlaced with Rebet’s unique animations and sound wave demonstrations. “I Came For Fire” – which also features appearances from Perkins’ longtime collaborators Arnaud Cornillon and Steve Durand. If you are a fan of old radio and recording gear, you’ll be doubly entertained!

Perkins has also announced a series of North American tour dates, highlighted by an eagerly anticipated two-night-stand at New York City’s hottest new nightclub, Berlin, on December 11th and 12th. The dates celebrate Perkins’ acclaimed new album, I AUBADE, released earlier this year via his own MIR Records label.
The North American tour will officially get underway December 10th at Hudson, NY’s Club Helsinki and then make stops in Toronto, Montreal, and Providence, RI (see attached itinerary). An additional round of live dates are scheduled for early 2016 – for updates and announcements, please visit www.elvisperkinssound.net/concert.
