Ever wonder just how many microphones are on stage during the average "big-name" concert?

Daughtry, led by frontman Chris Daughtry, has been taking their muscular mix of modern rock, hard rock, alternative and post-grunge to fans on concert stages around the world, and their microphone list is extensive. For his lead vocal mics,Chris Daughtry uses Audio-Technica’s Artist Elite® 5000 Series UHF Wireless System with the AE6100 Hypercardioid Dynamic Handheld and AEW-T6100 Transmitter. Elsewhere on the stage there's a wide array of A-T wired mics, including dual ATM650 Hypercardioid Dynamics for snare (top and bottom); AE5100 Cardioid Condensers for hi-hat and ride; AE3000 Cardioid Condensers for rack and floor toms; AT4050 Multi-Pattern Condensers for overheads; ATM250 Hypercardioid Dynamic for the bass cabinet; and AE2500 Dual-Element Cardioid Instrument Mics for guitar cabinets.

Chris says his preference for Audio-Technica is because,  “This microphone is always reliable and provides great clarity!”

The next leg of Daughtry’s North American tour will continue to crisscross the continent through the end of the year. If yu would like to meet Chris Daughtry and see his live show, Visit daughtryofficial.com for the tour schedule and details.
